Sealtron is approved by the European Association of Aerospace Manufacturers (AECMA) for the following variations of the EN2997 hermetic connector:

The EN2997 circular hermetic connector is qualified and meets the unique requirements for the defense and aerospace industries, as well as those customers in other industries using variations of mil spec hermetic connectors in their applications.

HCC Industries is qualified and meets the rigorous European Military Standard requirements in order to supply our European clients with approved MIL-STD technology. After undergoing the European Military Standard product approval process, the Sealtron mil spec hermetic connector is now ASD-CERT (Certification of Standard Aerospace Products) approved.

European Military Standard Product Approval Process:

Our EN2997 hermetically sealed connector is designed to conform to the ASD-CERT production of standard products’ specifications. The following outlines the thorough European Military Standard Product inspection and approval process:

An ASD-CERT mandated representative observes the qualification testing performed at the Sealtron, HCC hermetic connector division manufacturing facility.
The ASD-CERT representative stamps and signs the “Manufacturing Route” to initiate the EN2997 hermetically sealed connector approval process.
The ASD-CERT representative creates a testing summary report to provide to the ASD-CERT Executive Board, along with the original manufacturer test report.
The ASD-CERT Executive Board approves the report and the ASD-CERT Secretary General prepares the Product Qualification PQ Certificate, usually with a validity of three years.
